Another fabulous 5-0 win for our squash team and with a clean sweep with all our players, Mick M, John, Richard, Mick R and Drew all winning their respective matches 3-0, to give a total collective win of 15 games to love.
This win puts York RI squash team back at the top of Division 5, at 209 points. Although only 7 points ahead of unbeaten Scarborough 3, who also have a game in hand. One more win for our team could, mathematically, secure us promotion to Division 4 for next season.
All five players deserved the prestigious Man of the Match award, however, once again the Man of the Match is shared – between Jess and Arnab, for their fantastic support and encouragement for our team, assisting with marking, imbetween games advice and fabulous support to help us secure this historic 15 – love victory.
Next up, a tough match against Malton 3, at home, on the 4th March.
