York RI promoted to Division 4!
A superb 5-0 win for our squash team against promotion challengers Malton 3. This win secures our promotion to Division 4 of the York & District squash leagues.
Solid 3-0 wins for Ian, John and Richard. Mick had a good match at number 1, besting his opponent in a 3-1 victory. However, playing at number 5, Chris went two games down in his match, with Malton looking to upset the party. Chris then dug deep for inspiration, determination and skill, to fight back to win the next 3 games, securing a 3-2 victory and the well deserved honours of Man of the Match.
